Since 1936, the Kansas Motor Carriers Association has united the state’s motor carriers and allied partners around a simple idea: Kansas trucking is stronger when we work together. Chartered as a nonprofit on August 11, 1936, KMCA has grown into a statewide hub for leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving in transportation.
Today, KMCA’s more than 600 member companies include local fleets, regional carriers, national operators, and allied service providers. Together, they look to KMCA as Kansas trucking’s unified voice, building relationships with safety partners, regulators, and lawmakers and ensuring that industry expertise informs public policy. Our four annual signature events, safety council programs and training, and year-round engagement opportunities bring carriers, suppliers, regulators, and policymakers to the same table to tackle safety, workforce, infrastructure, and regulatory challenges.
Members turn to KMCA for advocacy, safety leadership, and peer connections that help them navigate change and seize new opportunities. When you belong to KMCA, you gain practical tools, meaningful relationships, and a network that understands your business and stands with you on the road ahead.
