Renewal Information:

The 2025 Renewal Season opens December 1st, 2024 and closes on March 1, 2025. 

During this time, Kansas Motor Carriers  Services experiences extremely high volumes of requests. Please plan ahead and submit your information as early as possible. It can take 3-5 business days before a staff member is able to begin working on a request. 

NEW in 2025: To request a renewal via email, please email registration@kmca.org. 

This streamlines our processing and ensures faster service for our members. Please do not email individual staff members to start your requests.

Note: Requesting renewals via email is a service available to KMCA members only and members incurr a small fee for the convenience. Services are billed after the service.  

Save Time:

If you come in person, save time! Before you come, be prepared and check that you have the appropriate documents:

• Updated MCS-150
• Proof of Insurance
• 2024-2025 2290 – Heavy highway use tax(if applicable)
• Lease agreements (if applicable)
• USDOT Safety Responsibility Statements (if applicable)
• UCR through 12-31-2025
• Signed Invoice (only if you do yourself)
